✨October 2026 Wellness Horoscopes

What Do the Stars Have in Store for Your Wellness Journey?

Welcome to something new at Pilates on Plains!

Each month, we're bringing you a little astrology with a wellness twist. Our monthly horoscopes draw inspiration from the actual planetary movements and astrological themes of the month, connecting them to something we all care about: feeling stronger, moving better, finding balance and taking care of ourselves as we age.

Whether you're a devoted horoscope follower or simply enjoy reading your sign for fun, we hope you'll find a little inspiration to carry into your wellness journey.

October brings some interesting astrological activity. Venus begins its retrograde journey on October 3, encouraging reflection on our priorities and what we truly value. A New Moon in Libra on October 10 invites fresh beginnings and greater balance, while Mercury retrograde begins October 24, bringing an opportunity to revisit old habits and routines. The Full Moon in Taurus on October 26 highlights comfort, stability and our relationship with our physical wellbeing.

So, what might October have in store for your sign?

ARIES | March 21 to April 19

October asks you to rethink the idea that progress always means pushing harder. With relationships, priorities and personal values under review this month, you may find yourself questioning where your time and energy are really going.

Your wellness reminder this month is that strength also includes restraint. Keep moving, but give recovery, mobility and sleep the same importance as your workouts. A routine you can sustain will take you much further than a burst of motivation followed by exhaustion.

TAURUS | April 20 to May 20

October finishes with a Full Moon in Taurus, putting your own needs, body and personal priorities into the spotlight. You may become more aware of what genuinely makes you feel good versus what you've simply become accustomed to.

This is a wonderful month to reconnect with your body rather than fight against it. Think strength, nourishing routines, walking, Pilates, stretching and the little habits that help you feel grounded. Your body doesn't need punishment. It needs partnership.

GEMINI | May 21 to June 20

Your natural tendency is to keep moving, both physically and mentally, but October encourages a little reflection before adding the next thing to your plate. By late month, Mercury retrograde may turn your attention back toward routines you've abandoned or habits that need adjusting.

Instead of searching for a completely new wellness plan, look at what has worked before. Maybe it's returning to consistent classes, walking more, getting to bed earlier or rebuilding strength gradually. Sometimes progress means returning to the basics.

CANCER | June 21 to July 22

October may make you particularly aware of the difference between simply being busy and actually feeling well. Home, comfort, emotional wellbeing and the people around you can influence your energy more than usual.

Let movement become somewhere you come back to yourself. You don't always need the hardest class or the biggest goal. Strength training, stretching, quiet walks and restorative movement can all have a place. Taking care of yourself isn't time away from your life. It's part of living it.

LEO | July 23 to August 22

Jupiter continues travelling through Leo this month, encouraging growth, confidence and a willingness to expand what's possible for yourself. That can be wonderful motivation, provided enthusiasm doesn't convince you that everything has to happen at once.

Pick a goal that makes you feel excited about what your body can do. Become stronger, improve your balance, master a movement or build a more consistent routine. October is less about changing how you look and more about discovering what you're capable of.

VIRGO | August 23 to September 22

October asks you to look carefully at the routines that support you without turning wellness into another project that has to be done perfectly.

If your health routine has become complicated, simplify it. Consistent movement, strength work, mobility, nourishing food, good sleep and recovery aren't glamorous, but they're powerful. Your biggest opportunity this month may be realizing that doing the basics consistently beats doing everything occasionally.

LIBRA | September 23 to October 22

This is your season, Libra, and the October 10 New Moon falls in your sign. In astrology, this is traditionally associated with renewal, intentions and the opportunity for a fresh personal chapter.

Instead of setting a goal based only on appearance, ask yourself a different question. How do I want to feel in my body six months from now? Stronger? More energetic? More mobile? More confident? Let that answer guide the habits you begin building now.

SCORPIO | October 23 to November 21

October is a significant month for Scorpio. Venus begins its retrograde journey in your sign, and Mercury later turns retrograde there too, creating an astrological theme of reflection, reassessment and looking beneath the surface.

Your wellness journey may benefit from the same approach. Instead of chasing another quick fix, get curious about your deeper habits. What's working? What keeps getting in your way? What would taking care of your future self actually look like? Transformation doesn't always begin by doing more. Sometimes it begins by becoming more aware.

SAGITTARIUS | November 22 to December 21

You tend to thrive when life feels expansive, interesting and a little adventurous. October is a good reminder that your wellness routine doesn't have to feel like homework.

Try something different. Take a new class, walk somewhere beautiful, set yourself a strength challenge or bring a friend along. Variety can help you stay engaged, but don't confuse constantly changing your routine with progress. Keep the adventure, but give it some consistency.

CAPRICORN | December 22 to January 19

October's astrological themes suit something you already understand well. Meaningful results are usually built over time. With Saturn emphasizing patience, responsibility and structure, this is a month for thinking about the bigger picture.

Think beyond this month's goals. What do you want your body to still allow you to do at 60, 70, 80 and beyond? Strength, balance, mobility and cardiovascular health are investments in that future. Train not simply for today. Train for the life you still want to be living years from now.

AQUARIUS | January 20 to February 18

With Pluto moving direct in Aquarius this month, astrology puts themes of gradual reinvention and personal change around your sign.

That doesn't mean throwing everything away and starting again. Your best wellness shift may be updating an old idea about what fitness is supposed to look like. Exercise doesn't need to punish you to work. Strength, mobility, balance, recovery and enjoyment can coexist. Build a version of wellness that actually belongs to you.

PISCES | February 19 to March 20

October encourages you to pay attention to the quieter signals your body sends before they become impossible to ignore. With several planets emphasizing reflection this month, there can be value in slowing down enough to notice how your routines actually make you feel.

Movement can be both strengthening and restorative. Pilates, mobility, stretching, walking and intentional recovery can give your body what it needs without requiring you to constantly push harder. Listening to your body isn't giving up on progress. It can be what allows progress to continue.

A FINAL THOUGHT FROM PILATES ON PLAINS

Whatever your zodiac sign, there's one thing we believe at Pilates on Plains. It's never too late to make your health and wellbeing a priority.

You don't need to change everything overnight. You don't need to be the strongest person in the room, the most flexible or the most experienced.

You simply need to begin, keep showing up and remember that every little effort counts.

Our philosophy is simple.

Strong isn't a phase. It's a decision.

We train people for life.

See you next month for your November Wellness Horoscopes!
